Named on the Mexican state of Chihuahua, the Chihuahua breed of dogs are the smallest of the varieties in the world and oldest of the dog breeds in the North America. Their coat texture and length is generally of either little hair or long hair and the shedding tendency is regular all the year round. The Chihuahua is generally very loyal and provides great companionship. These breed of dogs have some diseases passed on from the heredity. These are some neurological troubles, like seizure ailments and epilepsy. The dogs are very prone towards infection of the eyes. They are not very comfortable towards cool weather so during the winter it is advisable to wrap up with some warm cloth. You need to clean the ears often otherwise cleaning up Chihuahua is not any trouble just one bath in a month cutting the nails, and brushing serially is all they demand. . During birth mainly cesarean delivery the puppies have a blot which is known as “molera” above their skull. But with passing of days such gaps generally close. Sometimes they remain open and such conditions become prone to injuries. Overeating for these dogs is not good for their health. The special traits of Chihuahua are that they have erect years. They generally need regular walking as they are quite active and this is good for their health. Playing with them is also helpful. You must take proper care of your favorite pet as the Chihuahua is quite prone to troubles but your constant vigil can make them good trained dogs. But you will love the tiny dogs having the head shaped as an apple. Almost any famous Hollywood celebrity possesses this breed of dog.
